"I am really focused for this weekend at Montreal," said driver
David Ragan. "The road course will be a challenge for all of us,
but I am well prepared and up for the challenge. We have been
doing a lot of testing at various road courses and the laps have
helped a great deal. I am confident our program is stronger than
ever and I am looking forward to proving it on Saturday afternoon." |
 |
 |
 |
"I enjoy going to this historical international road course. I
believe the course can get the best of a lot of drivers but I
feel we are up for the challenge," said Crew Chief Mike Kelley.
"David's experience from last year should help our effort this
year. Any experience on the tough course can make a difference
in how well you run. Our goal is to stay on the course and take
care of our equipment as best we can. In order to finish well
you have to be patient early and have a sound pit strategy. I
am confident our Discount Tire team will bring home a strong
finish this weekend." |

David Ragan
"Pocono is a fun track that is very unique; we definitely don't
go anywhere else quite like Pocono throughout the season. It's
also a track where I've struggled in the past, but we've had some
good runs recently so hopefully we can build off of that momentum.
We need to go there and get a good run; it's all about points and
having solid finishes at this point in the season." |
 |
 |
 |
Carl Edwards
"I'm excited to go to Pocono. We certainly have what it takes to
run well there. We had a strong car when we raced there earlier
this year, but had a problem on pit road that took us out of
contention for the win late in the race. The Office Depot guys
have been working really hard, and I look forward to competing
for the win this weekend." |
 |
 |
 |
Greg Biffle
"We had a good run there in June and should have had a top-five
finish. I got a pit road speeding penalty near the end of the race
though and that hurt us. We ended up with a 15 th -place finish
but I'd be happy if we could just have a run like that again this
weekend without the speeding penalty. We've got momentum behind us
right now and we just need to keep it. A top-five or even a solid
top-10 finish in Pocono this weekend would keep the momentum going
and then if we can get through Watkins Glen, the last four tracks
before the chase are four of my favorites." |
