Discount Tire Team #6 |
 |
 |
 |
"I feel like our No. 6 Discount Tire team is in a nice grove right now," said driver David
Ragan. "We are making up a lot of ground in the point standings and I think we can make an
even bigger jump this weekend. We are taking a really fast Ford Fusion to New Hampshire. Our
guys have been working hard on our set-ups and making sure our car is stout as soon as we
unload. It will be nice to practice the car and follow a normal companion race weekend
schedule. We believe multiple wins are well within reach this year, but it is going to take
a monster effort to accomplish it." |

"The guys have been working extremely hard on our Discount Tire Ford Fusion and I believe we
are a serious contender for a championship," said crew chief Mike Kelley. "Loudon is a great
track and it will definitely be a challenge, but with good preparation and patience, good things
will happen. We have been running well as of late and I am looking forward to carrying that
momentum to Loudon. David has been delivering for us week in and week out. It's time to take
the next step and solidify our status as a team to contend with every week. A trip to victory
lane would be a great way to do that." |

David Ragan
"It's pretty exciting going to Loudon this weekend with a Red Sox paint scheme on our No. 6 AAA
Ford Fusion. I like shorter tracks like Loudon; they really seem to fit my driving style. We did
pretty well last year, but I've been driving smarter and qualifying better this year so we should
be pretty good. It's great to head up north with our Fenway association and especially for me since
Mike Dee is my car owner. Carl had a good run last year with the Red Sox paint scheme so hopefully
we can follow that up with another good finish." |
 |
 |
 |
Carl Edwards
"I like New Hampshire; it's one of my favorite tracks. It's flat and fast and it puts a lot of things
in the driver's hands. We've had really strong runs there in the past, so hopefully we'll be able to
repeat that success." |
 |

 |
Greg Biffle
"I always enjoy racing at New Hampshire. It's a flat track and those are always fun for a driver because
it requires a lot of throttle and brake input. The keys to New Hampshire are getting the car to rotate
in the corner and have lots of forward bite exiting. If you can hit both of those things with the setup
then it's generally a good day. We had a decent run last weekend at Infineon but I would feel a lot more
comfortable if we could get into the top five in the point standings in the final weeks leading up to the
chase." |
