Discount Tire Team #6 |

"The Milwaukee Mile will pose a serious challenge for this team, but I think we have the
car and the crew to get it done this weekend," said driver David Ragan. "Unfortunately I
will not be able to practice or qualify the car, but I am confident Auggie Vidovich will
do a great job for us. He has practiced our Ford Fusion the last few weeks and has given
me great insight on the car's handling. Our short track program has been solid this year
and I really feel like we can run among the leaders all night long." |

"The Milwaukee Mile is a very unique track. It is very hard to get good grip, but it has
good forward bite coming off the corners. I am very comfortable with the car we are
bringing," noted crew chief Mike Kelley. "We got a top five at Richmond with this Ford
Fusion. Our Discount Tire team is in a really good rhythm right now. We have been excellent
on and off of pit road and our adjustments made during the race have been accurate. I know
David is getting anxious about getting a win under his belt. As a competitor I would expect
nothing less. We are going to do everything we can to get him to victory lane on Saturday night." |

"Road courses haven't been my strongest point in the past, but I've done some testing and hopefully
all the hard work will pay off. Plus I've got a lot more experience on my side compared to where I
was last year at this time. My team has been great and as long as we keep making the right adjustment
and continue having solid pit stops then I see no reason why we can't leave Sonoma with a top-10 finish." |
 |

Carl Edwards
"Bob Osborne and the rest of the Office Depot team have been doing a lot to help improve our road course
program. We recently tested Road Atlanta to get in some practice on a road course and I think it has helped.
I don't come from that kind of racing background, but getting a few races under our belts has helped a lot." |

Greg Biffle
"I like road course racing. It breaks up the season a little. Last year we had a top-five finish at
Infineon and I think it's reasonable to shoot for a top-10 finish this weekend. We had a good test with
this car at Road Atlanta a few weeks ago and I think we learned a few things that should help this weekend.
There are a few drivers in this series who have a lot of road course experience and if I can just hold my
own with them and get out of there with a top-10 or top-five finish, I think that would be a reasonable
expectation." |
