Discount Tire Team #6 |

"We rebounded nicely with a top-five in Nashville last weekend," said David Ragan, "but we are
looking to improve on that this weekend in Kentucky. I cannot say enough about our Discount Tire
crew. Those guys have been very consistent all year. Our equipment has been good and our race
strategy has been sound. We just have to get over the hump and get into victory lane. I know
everyone on this team wants to win in the worst way, but we have to stay focused and take it
one race at a time. I am positive our team will be in victory lane in the near future." |

"David gets his second career Nationwide series start at Kentucky this weekend. I feel confident
we will improve on our top-10 run from a year ago," added crew chief Mike Kelley. "Our Discount
Tire team has matured a lot since then and we are more confident this time around. I believe that
if we prepare a good race car for David the sky is the limit for him. He has become a consistent
driver that is always a threat to run in the top-five and challenge for a win. I hope we can
continue our good fortune and run well under the lights in Kentucky." |

David Ragan
"Michigan is a great track and racing there is a lot of fun. There are a lot of Ford fans up that
way and just a lot of Roush fans in general. It's definitely helpful anytime you have that much
support at a track. I think the COT will throw in a new twist for everyone this year. Nothing from
last year will carry over so I think it'll be a learning experience for everyone." |
 |
 |
 |
Carl Edwards
"I'm really looking forward to Michigan. It's a great track with some really awesome racing. You
can pass and I think the fans always see a good show there. Michigan is a kind of bragging rights
track. It's in Roush's back yard, Ford's back yard - so another win there would be huge." |
 |

 |
Greg Biffle
"Michigan has always been one of my favorite tracks on the circuit. It's fast and it allows for a
lot of passing because it is so wide. We won back-to-back races there in 2004 and 2005 and I think
we could see that success again with the way our program is going right now. It's always great to
win in Michiga n because it's kind of the home track for Ford and Roush Industries. I also lived
in Michigan for a couple of years when I first started racing the trucks for Roush in 1998 and
1999. We usually have a lot of support in the stands up there, so if we could get the Dish Network
Ford in victory lane this weekend we'd make a lot of those Ford and Roush employees happy." |
