"We struggled mightily in Dover last weekend, so we are looking to rebound this weekend in Nashville.
Everything is in place for us to succeed. Our Ford Fusion is fast, our pit crew is awesome and we know
the track fairly well," said driver David Ragan. "I know this Discount Tire team is ready to get to
victory lane, but we have to make sure we stick to our game plan every week. I am confident the worst
is behind us and we can concentrate on continuing to get top-10 and top-five finishes. The wins will
come as long as we stay within striking distance at the end of every race." |

"I can't wait to get to Nashville", commented crew chief Mike Kelley. "We are in need of a great run.
We put ourselves in a hole in the standings recently, and it is time to dig ourselves out. I know we
are capable of top-10 and top-five runs every week, but we have to make sure we are prepared as soon
as we unload our car. I know we are capable of magical things at this track, but we have to believe
that in order to be successful. David ran well." |

"Pocono is a track we didn't run well at last year, so it was great to get to test here last week.
It's a track that is very unique and fun to race at. I ran some ARCA races there back in 2005. I
finished fourth in one and wrecked in the other. I think we learned a lot at the test last week
and the track is fresh in my mind for this weekend. It's also the first weekend I'll have to do
the back and forth for the Nationwide side since they are in Nashville. It will be a busy weekend,
but I'm ready to have two solid runs and earn some good finishes." |

Carl Edwards
"I'm excited to go to Pocono. I feel confident that we have what it takes to run well there, even
though we have struggled some at Pocono in our last few visits there. This is the first weekend
I'll be traveling between the Nationwide and Cup Series so I'm looking forward to that as well." |

Greg Biffle
"Pocono has historically not been one of my best tracks. We had a good run there a couple of years
ago and were in contention to win. We ended up with a sixth-place finish but I'd be happy if we
could just hav e a run like that again this weekend. We've got momentum behind us right now and
we just need to keep it. A top-five or even a solid top-10 finish in Pocono this weekend would keep
the momentum going and then we can get ready for Michigan which is one of my favorite tracks." |
