Nationwide Race: Heluva Good! 200 at Dover International Speedway
Discount Tire Team #6 |

"I am excited to be heading back to Dover," said driver David Ragan. It will be a challenge
for the Discount Tire team. We have to prepare a solid game plan and setup a fast race car
to run well. I am taking this weekend very personal. I have never finished better than 18th
at Dover. I can assure you that we will do anything and everything to secure a top-10 finish
or better. We have been in contention for wins at the end of quite a few races this year. I
am ready to get over the hump and get to victory lane and Dover would be a great place to do it." |

"We got back on the right track last week at Charlotte with a top-10 finish," commented crew
chief Mike Kelley. Our Discount Tire team has to stay focused for this weekend in Dover. It
is a very fast concrete track that can get the best of good drivers. We have to be prepared
for anything. If David runs on the bottom of the track, and we make good adjustments on the car
during the race, we should be fine. This weekend would be a nice time to make a major move in
the championship standings. A top-five at the "Monster Mile" would be a nice way to do that." |

Sprint Cup Race: Best Buy 400 Dover International Speedway
Discount Tire is an associate sponsor of Cup car drivers David Ragan, Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle:
David Ragan
"We've been at home for the past two weeks so it will be good to head out again. I really enjoy
racing at Dover and it's a place I've done okay in the past. I've never qualified really well at
Dover, but we've been qualifying much better this year so hopefully we can get ourselves some track
position to start with. I guess we'll see what happens, but as long as we keep making solid point
runs like we have been then we'll be just fine."
Carl Edwards
"Dover is one of my favorite tracks. It's pretty much a one groove track so you need to handle well
through the center of the corners in order to keep your position. Hopefully we'll get our Office Depot
Fusion dialed in and handling well and get a good finish."
Greg Biffle
"Dover is a track that we've been able to run well at as a team over the last few years. I got one of
my most memorable wins there in 2005 and we were able to get a second-place finish there last fall.
This is the race that Greg Erwin came on board with us officially last year and it's pretty cool to
see how the team has grown since then. We've got a great group of guys and I really feel like our
first win of the season is right around the corner. This weekend could be it. We ran really well in
Dover last fall and we've learned a lot about the cars since then, so I'm optimistic." |
