Nationwide Race: Lipton Tea 250 at Richmond International Speedway

"I am excited to run under the lights at Richmond. The atmosphere will be very fun, and I know
the Discount Tire team will be prepared for anything this weekend, said driver David Ragan.
"The key to success at Richmond is a good qualifying effort. If we can stay up front from the
outset I think we can have a very solid run. Our Ford Fusion will be fast; we just have to take
care of business on and off pit road. We need a good run to get back in the hunt for a championship." |

"We had a rough weekend in Talladega. I think we all need to regroup and put that in the past,
crew chief Mike Kelly said. "Richmond is a tough short track that will be a challenge for us.
Luckily, David has some experience there and he knows how to get around here. Our short track
program is solid and our Discount Tire Ford Fusion is proven. We are bringing our top-five car
from Phoenix to Richmond, so I can assure you we will do everything we can to duplicate that
performance." |

David Ragan
"Short tracks are definitely my favorite and Richmond pretty much tops my list. I grew up racing
short tracks like Richmond and they really fit my driving style. Plus last year we earned our best
finish of the season at Richmond. I ran out of laps there at the end of the race, I had a fast car
and I think I could've caught those guys in front of me if I had a few more laps. Well maybe this
time we'll be able to do it. I've had some great cars so far this season so I'm really excited to
get to the track this weekend, especially coming off such a good run at Talladega."
Carl Edwards
"Richmond is a challenging track to drive but fun at the same time. My Office Depot team has been
strong every week and I am looking forward to having a solid run and a good point day. I am really
confident going into Richmond."
Greg Biffle
"Richmond is definitely one of my favorite tracks. It's a multi-groove track, which makes for good
racing. I'm pretty happy with our finish in Talladega. It could have been better but at least we
finished. Now we're going to a couple of my favorite tracks with Richmond and Darlington coming up
and I'm looking forward to those. They're both fun tracks where "Richmond is definitely one of my
