With the spot light on NNS this weekend, due to week off for the Sprint Series, Team
Discount Tire is focused more than ever. "Since the Cup Series is off this weekend we
can focus a little better on the task at hand. There will be a lot of young drivers
out to prove there worth this weekend, and we need to stay up front and practice
patience," driver David Ragan said. "If we do that, everything else will fall into place." |

"Our Discount Tire team has been very consistent this year. We have made great strides
in our program: our equipment is top notch and our race setups have been very accurate
this year. This weekend will be no different. Nashville is a fast concrete track that
is very challenging," Ragan added. |

When asked about the 1.3 mile 14 degree banked Nashville track, Team Discount crew
chief Mike Kelley responded, "We are ready for the fast track at Nashville. There
will be a lot of young drivers in the race, so our main focus is to stay up front
and out of trouble. David ran well here last time around and I am confident he can
do it again. The Discount Tire team has been working hard to operate as one cohesive
unit. Our race day crew has been unbelievably consistent this year. I feel like that
will make a big difference this weekend. Traditionally, Roush cars have done well at
Nashville, and we hope to continue that trend and bring home a great finish." |
