Nationwide Race: Sharpie MINI 300
Discount Tire Team #6
"We left a lot on the table at Atlanta, said David Ragan, "and I'm anxious to get back in the
Discount Tire Ford Fusion this weekend at Bristol. We had a top-10 finish the last time we ran
here, so I know we can win this race if everything falls in place. The Discount Tire team cannot
hold anything back, and I can assure you I will be up on the wheel early. If we have good pit
stops and manage our track position, we'll bring home a good finish." |

"Bristol is very fast and can be intimidating. But we ran well here twice last year, so I am very
confident we can get it done this weekend," crew chief Mike Kelly commented. "Our setups at Bristol
have been very accurate and our results good. Bristol is all about survival. If we can be there at
the end of the race, we have a shot at a top-five run." |

David Ragan
"I really like short track racing so I'm definitely ready for this weekend. Bristol hasn't been my
best short track in the past, but I'm hoping we can turn that around this weekend. I've been much
better this year about preparing myself physically for these long demanding races and this weekend
that preparation should pay off. It's such a physically demanding track; you really have to be on
the wheel the entire time. It's easy to go a lap down so track position is going to be very important.
Hopefully we can get a good qualifying run and stay towards the front the entire 500 laps." |

Carl Edwards
"Bristol is a tough track," commented Carl Edwards, "but it's one that I really enjoy. I think it will
be all about survival at Bristol. This team has been really strong this season, and I think we're going
to be strong this weekend as well. It's a tough track, but its going to be a lot of fun and hopefully
we'll get a great finish." |

Greg Biffle
"I love racing at Bristol and I can't wait to get there," Greg Biffle said. "We're taking a car that
we ran well with at Dover last year, and that combined with the way things are going for us this year
makes me feel like we're going to get to victory lane sooner than later. I don't have a win at Bristol
and I would love to win there. It's a fun track and the fans get a great show every time because there's
not a bad seat in the house." |
